August 2010 turned
into a month where the Burridge juggernaut kept rolling on with impressive runs
throughout the month with Dynamic Dan kicking things off for the stable.
Friday the 1st of August saw Dynamic Dan produce a stellar
run and score back to back wins with a win in the class 3 1200m event on the
poly track on Friday night at Kranji. With no weight on his back and in super
form, Dynamic Dan had no troubles stepping up to class 3 with senior jockey
Sean Cormack on board.
Proving very versatile for the Burridge stable after being a last start
winner in class 4 company over the 1400m, Dynamic Dan received a nice card into
the race and got the run late in the straight to get the win and take a stake
of the $75,000 prize money that was on offer.
Friday the 6th of August saw Dare to Win break through for his Maiden victory over the 1600m on the polytrack. After getting a favourable barrier draw and being ever consistent prior to the race, Dare to Win found his right race and having the top jockey Moreira on board was always going to be hard to beat winning well to notch up another win for the month for the Burridge Stable.
A gear change for Cristoforo seemed to be the winning move from
Burridge on Friday the 6th
The step up for Benji¡¯s Glory to the 1700m Open benchmark 69 company on
the 8th of August didn¡¯t faze the 4 year old with a win after
getting a box seat ride from jockey Joao Moreira. Burridge has slowly stepped
the galloper up in distance without winning, but the 1700m looked comfortable
for the gelding under the direction of Moreira.
Trigger Synergy and Mr Raffles both had impressive wins in August with
wins also going to Golden Scalpel, Shaolin Soldier, Teen Angel, and Tobias.
Cabrera proves ever consistent but is finding hard to break thru with another 3nd
placing this month, Maple Star and Esteem Power both got in the mix again to
round out another impressive month of racing for the Burridge Stable.
