Burridge pulls the Trigger

Saturday, October 13, 2007

Staying horse Trigger Express appreciated the help from the in form Aussie jockey Noel Callow to score over 1800m beating Lemurian by a nose.

Callow put Trigger to sleep in the box seat and stalked the leaders until straightening when Callow tactically changed his whip to the left hand and urged Trigger vigorously to the line for the geldings 6th career win.

Burridge was full of praise for the jockey who practically carried Trigger over the line, ‘That win was definitely due to Callow’s sheer strength and determination, he rode the horse perfectly.’
