It was an easy victory for jockey S.John who gave Mandiri a first class ride in the Class 5, 1200 metre race at Kranji tonight.

He drew barrier number 3 and jumped out smartly which gave him a cool rails run. Working Class Man tried his best to test Mandiri around the turn but the bay gelding by Xaar on straightening was able to nudge infront and in the end raced away convincingly to win by 4 lengths.

'The horse has always shown ability and he was a class better than Class 5 tonight even though he carried top weight, I was pleased with his effort.' Said Mandiri's trainer Steven Burridge.
